Privacy Policy
Tidefall is a dive site reference tool. We don’t run ads, we don’t sell data, and we don’t track you across the internet. This policy explains what little data we do handle.
Server Logs
Our web server automatically records standard access logs when you visit the site. These include your IP address, browser type, the pages you requested, and the time of your visit. This is standard for virtually every website on the internet. We use these logs for basic operational purposes: spotting errors, monitoring uptime, and understanding which content gets used. We don’t tie this data to any individual identity and we don’t share it with anyone.
Cookies
The site uses a session cookie for administrative functions. If you’re just browsing dive sites, the cookie doesn’t do anything meaningful for you. We don’t use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or any third-party cookie systems. There are no cookie consent pop-ups here because there’s nothing to consent to beyond basic functionality.
Third-Party Services
We load fonts from Google Fonts, which means your browser makes requests to Google’s servers when you visit the site. Google’s own privacy policy covers how they handle those requests. Beyond that, we don’t embed any analytics scripts, social media widgets, or advertising networks. No Google Analytics, no Facebook Pixel, no tracking pixels of any kind.
Data We Don’t Collect
We don’t have user accounts, so we don’t collect email addresses, names, or personal details. There are no contact forms, newsletter signups, or comment sections. If that changes in future, this policy will be updated accordingly.
Your Rights
Since we hold virtually no personal data, there’s not much to request access to or delete. If you have concerns about your data or want to know what server logs we might hold relating to your IP address, you can reach us at hello@tidefall.xyz.
Changes
If we start collecting more data in future (user accounts, analytics, etc.), we’ll update this policy to reflect that. The date below tells you when it was last revised.
